The Client Merge command lets you merge all elements from Client B into Client A. It’s quicker than Import from Client if you want to import all library entries. When merging a library entry from another client that has the same name as an existing entry, you can choose to replace the existing entry or save as new unless the objects exist in both clients with the same ID#, date of last mod, and creation date. Such truly identical objects are simply not copied.

Client Merge’s primary use is to merge two unique ProVal clients (that is, they aren’t modified copies of each other), such as for business line 1 and business line 2, together so the results can be combined within ProVal.
