Change History

The Change History command allows you to review modifications made to library entries.

Summary information about each modification includes the date/time the change was made, the library name and entry name, the user who made the change and the size of the detailed information that is stored about that modification.

For any selected row(s) in the Change History, click the Show Details button to see specific Change History information. The detailed information consists of a "comparison" of the library entry, before and after changes were made. When looking at the comparison, you have the choice of viewing "All sections" of the library entry, "Sections with differences" or "Changes only".

Note: The Change History command is useful for viewing modifications across all libraries. Within one library, detailed information can be viewed by pressing the History button.

SuperUsers can click the Delete button to access a screen that allows recorded history to be erased. Delete Change History has two options:

1) For all changes made prior to and including a date that you specify in the text field (the most recent date for which you wish to delete changes) and

2) For all changes, to remove all entries in the Change History.

Removal from the Change History is permanent; there is no way to restore an entry to the history once you delete it. Deleting the Change History clears the Change History for all records, not just for the currently selected record(s).

Click the View button to print, or save to a file, the summary information displayed about the Change History.
