Miscellaneous

The Miscellaneous tab controls the number of days included in the calculation of daily interest crediting accruals.

When crediting interest daily controls how many days are used in the determination of daily interest crediting of cash balance accruals. Assume 365 days per year expects that every year contains a maximum of 365 days. For example, when interest is credited arithmetically, the annual interest rate is divided by 365 and then multiplied by the number of days, with a maximum of 365 days, in the crediting period. Use exact days in year, the default option, will determine the interest credit based on the true number of days in a year, 365 or 366 (in a leap year).
