Import Field Map

The Import Field Map command is useful if you set up fulfillment documents for another client, possibly a template client, and want to access those documents as a starting point for the current client.  Use of this import tool may dramatically reduce the amount of setup required in the Field Mapping dialog for items that have standard names such as name and address information.

Clicking the Import Field Map menu item will open a browser.  Navigate to the folder that contains the Access Database of the reference or template client, select the database and click Open.  A ProAdmin Fulfillment Tool dialog box will then summarize the name and path of the database, indicate the number of labels in the database and ask if OK to proceed with import?  If yes, click OK to begin the process.  If there are any mismatches between the data in the current database and the data fields referenced in the import database, a warning will be produced for each such field and the problem label will not be imported. When the import process is complete, the number of labels imported will be indicated as the number of rows inserted into File Map list.  These items can be examined and edited as necessary by accessing the Field Mapping command.
