Calculation dates
Most of the calculations ProAdmin performs — including benefits, benefit formula components, accrual basis components, and eligibilities — calculate a result for each of these dates:
End of plan years from the first calculation date to the plan year end after the plan year containing the last Benefit Commencement Date (the last calculation date). Most of the additional dates in the list below will be dropped if they are after this last plan year end date. However, if the Plan Definition specifies a date to extend calculation dates through a selected date or a payment form deferred-to date is converted at deferral date (if later) rather than commencement, then the set of calculation dates is expanded to include all end of plan years until the plan year end containing these dates.
Decrement and Benefit Commencement Dates
Dates specifically parameterized in operators and payment forms, including:
Disability PIA freeze date,
Annuity freeze dates,
Payment form deferred-to dates, ages and certain periods,
Actuarial equivalence calculation dates, and
Cash balance active rate change dates.
Today’s date, in the case of Estimates with multiple decrement/benefit commencement dates, and
If selected under the Plan Definition > Plan Attributes > Miscellaneous Parameters dialog, you can optionally include:
end of months or end of bi-weeks
the dates associated with a specified field (e.g., all the effective dates in your status history)
the date associated with a specified field to extend calculation dates
